Centrally located to central railway and metro stations. Main Bazaar Paharganj is a hive of activity for food, street markets, chemists, general stores, restaurants and cafés and anything else in between. I travel to India regularly and have stayed mostly in Paharganj. Hotel Hari Piorko is probably one of the best I have stayed at and the top floor restaurant serves some of the best tasting dishes yet. The breakfast menu is great along with the availability of food long into the night. The staff are very helpful during check in and check out. Great position for private taxi pick up and drop off. Clean comfy beds and great showers. Has wall mounted liquid shower soap and hair shampoo and hand wash. The hotels position is a great place to meet fellow foreign travellers sharing travel experiences in India. Paharganj is not for the faint hearted and can be very overwhelming for inexperienced foreign travellers so buckle up hold on and love the experience ahead.

I would say one of the best, if not the best place in Pahar Ganj and I have seen quite a few. I was surprised by the cleanliness and think I need to explain: you are in the heart of Delhi and you should love to dive into local life and should not compare apples to oranges. I don't even recall whether the water was cold or hot, but if this is important to you I would recommend one of the artificial luxury islands a bit farer from the action. I also have to admit, that our room was a bit better than the one of our kids, but still "good enough". People at the front desk were extremely nice and helpful (I love that giant book where all guest information is registered manually with all that paper based transactions - impressive). We had a room with window and I first feared the noise from the bazar below which actually was no issue at all and I would recommend it. Restaurant was also fine and had places outside with a view on the street below.

The hotel is in the middle of Paraganji market. So when you leave the hotel you set foot straight out onto a very busy market. However for tourists this is great. Tarun was great and very helpful. The deluxe room was well priced and very high standards for Delhi ! The hotel has an amazing restaurant and spa facilities and a little gem of a shop .All of which is very fairly priced. So you don’t even need to go to the market it’s all there They have a travel tourism desk which helped us booked tickets to the local zoo. You literally don’t really have to go any where if you don’t want to . It was our little rescue space from the crazy world outside. We will be back . You made Delhi a honeymoon to remember!

The staff at this property were incredibly kind and helpful throughout our stay, always answering our questions to the best of their ability. The room was exactly as advertised. The hotel made buying water really easy (a necessity for new tourists) which was so helpful. We only purchased coffee in the restaurant while we were there but service was great and the patio deck that looks over the bazar was lovely to sit on during the day. Note: This hotel is in the middle of the old bazar, and if you’ve just landed in India for the first time staying here might be sensory overload, and not ideal for adjusting to a new culture. It is close very close to Chabad of Delhi if that is your reason for the stay.
